Though I did get this comment: "Blimey - that's really quite scary!"

HALLOWEEN MASHUPS

No new Bag O' Heads tune this year, but Cheekyboy has graciously re-upped all the old various-artist "Monster Mashup" collections, going back to 2004:

Fleetwood Mac vs Babar the Elephant

A very silly RIAA track, "Babar's Tusk," is featured on the "Fleetwood Mix" various-artists collection of Mac mashes and remixes, organized by Tim from RadioClash. Bits of David Lee Roth's whoopin and a-hollerin' are in there, as well. Thanks to kiddierecords.com for the Babar action.

Also featured: DJ BC, Celebrity Murder Party, LeeDM101, DJ FOX, 10000 Spoons and Tim himself aka Instamatic.

People Like Us end of season album download

London UK's legendary sound collage-ist People Like Us often features RIAA recordings in her WFMU radio show "Do or DIY," and this new best-of collection is no exception. "Spinning Rubber Sing Thing" is featured (towards the end).

"Awful Fun"

"It's the end of the Summer Season and so time for DO or DIY to unplug the ethernet cable, give the ol' modem a bit of a dust and take the next season off. But before we go we haven't forgotten that it's somewhat a tradition to make a downloadable collection of the best of all things avant retard for your ears and eye-pods, you lucky people - complete with downloadable artwork. So here it is. I always say there's nothing like art, and this is nothing like art."

This will be the new portal for all the latest news and sounds from Mr Fab and RIAA. That old index page was a pain, everything took forever to load. So here we are.
